Create an illusion in your own hands… Join Chicago-based sensory illusionist Jeanette Andrews to create an abstract olfactory feast! Visit her in the Contemporary Gallery between 7-10 pm to create your custom scent recipes. Then visit her again at 8:00, 9:00, or 10:00 pm to use your scent recipes for a guided interactive performance and accomplish an impossible feat!

Flutter from gallery to gallery with a special tour sponsored by the Birmingham Audubon Society. ART: We put a bird on it.

Alabama’s own Sidewalk Film Fest will be hosting screenings of their shorts in the Auditorium on the lower level! The 18th annual Festival will take place August 26th-28th in the Downtown theatre district. Lucky for you, in between the two screenings, you can hear more about all of the fun to be had!

Calling all painters, non-painters, half-painters, and ‘I don’t want to get paint on my outfit, but I want to take a cool picture’ – painters. Join us in the pit and color outside the lines with Birmingham’s own Rob Clifton.

Feel sky high jamming to Skybison imagining yourself under Van Gogh’s starry night sky. Skybison creates sounds, dodging genres and preconceptions, striking every color on the musical spectrum.
10 PM || UPPER SCULPTURE PLAZA- SWEET CRUDE
Oh How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By Sweet Crude. These creatives flaunt their Louisiana lineage in the context of 4-part harmonies, tribal rhythms, and pop hooks. Awards. Festivals. And Award Winning Festivals. They’ve done it all. Sweet Crude’s music has even been featured in FX’s American Horror Story. They have tested their frenetic sound on the road, packing venues from New Orleans to New York and now New Birmingham. Well, Birmingham.
