Join Ashley M. Jones, Poet Laureate of the State of Alabama, for poetry readings alongside works in our American collection. Jones, the youngest poet laureate and first Black woman to hold the position in the state, teaches creative writing at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and recently published a collection of poems, Reparations Now!
