The Photography Guild
The Photography Guild was established in 1987. The Guild supports the Museum by stimulating interest in the photographic arts and by encouraging and facilitating the acquisition of photography for the Museum. Photography Guild members enjoy special lectures, workshops, and presentations on a wide range of photo-related issues. Guild membership dues support acquisitions of photography for the Museum’s permanent collection.

On Thursday evening, March 11, 5:30 to 7:30 pm, members of the Photography Guild are invited to a special Behind-the-Scenes tour of the Museum's Hanson Library hosted by our librarian Tatum Preston. The Museum's library includes over 35,000 items including books, periodicals, auction records, and archival materials. In this tour of the library collection, Tatum will introduce members to the available resources related to the photography collection. Join us for a glass of wine and tour of the Library.
The Hanson Library is located on the first floor of the Museum. When you enter the Museum, walk down the second floor to the elevator nearest the American Gallery (the Bierstadt). Take that elevator to the first floor. Turn right, and the library is at the end of the hall, through the glass doors.
