Volunteering at the Museum is a great way to meet new and interesting people, support the Museum, and learn more about art. Join over 400 volunteers as they assist the Museum in a wide variety of areas. You don't have to be knowledgeable in art. You just need a desire to learn and help others.

Ambassadors

Looking for a flexible way to volunteer? Ambassadors expand the art experience beyond the museum walls by presenting the Museum’s collections and special exhibitions at various civic and social organizations throughout the community. If you enjoy public speaking and like to meet new people, this is the program for you!

Docents

To tour, or not to tour, that is the question! The Museum currently provides exciting and engaging tours and educational experiences to more than 20,000 students and adults each year. Want to join the fun and get your “mini-master’s degree” in Art History? Then the Docent Program is for you. We are currently accepting applications for the 2008-2009 docent year.
