Curator Ron Platt takes us on a visual journey through rock and roll. This is the first major museum exhibition about the history of rock and roll focusing on photography, thus acknowledging the creative and collaborative role that these image makers have played in the history of rock music. Through their photographs we see not only the social and cultural transformations that rock has fostered since the 1950s, but the energy of the music as well.
