Ron Platt, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art

Charlie Lucas’s art is packed with meaning: in all of the work he creates there are references to his personal history and/or ideas about social events and conditions. Platt will give a walkthrough of Lucas’s outdoor exhibition, during which he will discuss Lucas’s artistic lineage as well as some of the personal symbols and narratives at the heart of the artist’s assembled sculptures.

Meet real horses, just like the ones Leonardo loved to draw! Then come inside to reach new heights with the team from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Not only will you find out everything you wanted to know about flying, but you will get to make your own plane!
