Librarian, Tatum Preston, presents her Leonardo “book picks.”

These selections will be available in the Store.


Noon

Curator Jeannine O’ Grody leads a tour of the Leonardo exhibition.


2pm

Curator Ron Platt leads a tour of the Sharon Louden exhibition.


4pm

Exhibition curator Suzanne Stephens leads a tour of the Wolcott exhibition.


5–6pm

Curator Graham Boettcher hosts a general art Trivia Game with prizes.


6pm

Panelists Edwin Marty, Executive Director of Jones Valley Urban Farm, Jason Powell of Petals from the Past, and Fred Spicer, the Executive Director of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, converse about the slow food movement. Beginning in Turin, Italy in 1986, this movement emphasizes using locally grown foods and sustainable agriculture.


5–8pm

Hors d’oeuvres inspired by the slow food movement and a cash bar are available in the Sculpture Garden. Red Mountain Orchestra performs period pieces from the time of Leonardo da Vinci.
