Concerts In addition to the visual arts, the Museum offers several concerts during the year that feature both local and internationally renowned performing artists.

Thursday, December 11 7pm Steiner Auditorium The Museum is pleased to present award-winning concert pianist Roberto Plano for its annual Rushton Concert. Plano, a 2005 Cliburn Competition finalist and winner of the 2001 Cleveland International Piano Competition, performs regularly in Europe at such prestigious venues as Sala Verdi in Milan, Salle Cortot in Paris, the Herculessaal and Gasteig in Munich, and London’s famed Wigmore Hall. He has recorded two albums: one of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Scriabin, and one of Liszt only. Plano has also been a guest artist on NPR’s Performance Today, WNYC in New York, and WGBH’s Boston Classics Morning Show.
